I checked your video online and found that it did not apply to my refrigerator, a GE Profile model. I wasn't sure if I needed to remove the bracket/escutcheon or not. The repair proved to be much easier once I removed the control panel (after first turning off the power), unclipped the wire harnesses, removed four screws holding the assembly and then took out the assembly. The defrost harness kit is the set of wires and connectors that links the defrost heater to the defrost thermostat and the main control system in your refrigerator or freezer. It carries the electrical current that activates the heater during the automatic defrost cycle to melt frost buildup on the evaporator coils. Replace this kit if your freezer is accumulating excessive frost, the defrost cycle is not running, or you find burned, melted, or broken wires in the defrost circuit.

When we inspected the first time we found that Plactic had broken from the spiral part that for wards the ice. Also there were cracks in two places of other parts. There was a hole in the bottom of the bin. The new spiral was assembled and two new parts were replaced with help from the video and the diagram and the unit worked well.
