This is the top light shield for the refrigerator interior that protects the light assembly and helps direct illumination across the compartment. Replaces a cracked or missing shield to restore proper light coverage and appearance. What it does:

Swapped it out for new tube. Take 5 minutes and zero effort. The drain tube will clog with mold. You can clean it out but the tube will clog again despite's you best efforts as the tube wall provide a great habitat. Ordered new tubes to facilitate swap-outs. Compressor overload switch broke in my hand when I removed it but replacing it and the start relay did not fix the problem. I troubleshot the control board with the help of videos from Grace Appliance (https://www.youtube.com/c/GraceAppliance/videos) and found fans were not getting power. I ordered an aftermarket control board that offered free returns but it kept cycling off and on every minute. Common theme on the blogs was thermistors and or defrost heater/thermostat. Ran self-diagnostics which turned on defrost heater which was fine. I removed main control board cover and move Fridge a foot or so from wall. Problem reduced but still there. I suspected a heat sensitivity problem with main control board. I replaced the main control board and it resolved the issue. Read more
Ordered a replacement door stop bracket from AppliancePartsPros.com. Replaced bracket. Did require a Torx screwdriver but that was the only tool needed. Read more
