This thaw heater is the evaporator defrost heating element that melts frost during the refrigerator's defrost cycle. Replacing a failed heater helps restore normal defrosting and reduce frost buildup that can restrict cooling. What it does:
I replaced the fan and heater element. The replacement was not an exact match. I had to adjust the parts to get the harness to fit the plug was not the correct size. I cut it off and used the existing plug. Not a big deal and everything else fit. Pretty good for a twenty year old replacement. Also the heater element was a different shape but it fit as is. This replacement gasket seals the evaporator cover to the cabinet, preventing air leaks and directing airflow where it belongs. Restores a tight seal to help minimize frost buildup and temperature swings for more consistent cooling performance.
This auger helix is the spiral ice-moving component used in refrigerator ice dispensers. It helps deliver ice from the bin to the dispenser chute so you get consistent ice flow when the dispenser motor turns. What it does:
I ordered the damaged parts that arrived in an expeditious manner. I opened the video on your site and replaced all damaged parts of the auger. Took me a total of10 minutes to do the repair. The ice maker works perfectly now. Read more
This replacement screw secures refrigerator panels, brackets, and trim to help keep components aligned and quiet. It matches the specified #8-18 thread and 1-1/2 inch length used at designated mounting points.
This small hardware clamp is used on select refrigerators to secure tubing or wiring to the cabinet or frame. Replaces a missing or damaged clamp to keep lines stable, reduce vibration, and help prevent rubbing or leaks.

This cover pan assembly is the molded drain tray that routes defrost and condensation water to the refrigerator drain, helping keep the cabinet base dry and protecting internal components from moisture damage. What it does:
Replaced damper assembly using the how to videos and it was a piece of cake. I looked like a pro since watching it be done before attempting to do it on my own. Read more
This dial installs on the refrigerator chill/pan control to let you set the compartment temperature. Replacing a broken or loose dial restores proper control and makes adjusting the chill drawer quick and reliable. What it does:
The short... Our GE refrigerator has a dual evaporator. Which means there is an evaporator in both the freezer and the refrigerator. So inadequate cooling in the refrigerator is most likely not related to the freezer at all like it is with models that do not have dual evaporators. After extensive research, diagnosing and testing I was able to determine that the refrigerator evaporator thermistor was not working properly. I replaced all four thermistors (two in the refrigerator and two in the... Read more
This condenser assembly is the condenser coil used in compatible refrigerators to release heat from the refrigerant so the appliance can cool efficiently. Replacing a damaged coil helps restore proper cooling performance and energy use. What it does:
This fastener secures appliance components where a #8-18 AB hex-washer-head screw is specified. At 1/2 inch long, it restores a tight, reliable hold when an original screw is missing, damaged, or stripped.
This stand off is a small mounting spacer that secures and spaces internal components, restoring proper alignment and reducing panel movement or vibration for quieter, more reliable operation. What it does:
Since the compressor was still working, I guessed that either the interior fan was bad or the main control board. Since fans are usually very reliable, I decided to replaced the main control board. Immediately after replacing the board, the refrigerator began working normally. Thank goodness that solved the problem because replacing the board is much easier that replacing the fan on my refrigerator. Read more
This white stop door replaces the dispenser stop/door that controls access to the ice/water chute, helping restore proper dispenser operation and reduce sticking or unwanted discharge. Designed to match the original OEM fit and appearance. What it does

This orifice fan assembly is the replacement airflow/orifice component that helps the appliance regulate flow through the burner/vent area for more consistent operation. It restores proper function when the original assembly is worn or damaged. What it does:
The problem was most likely the evaporator fan motor but it could have been a bad blade, loose parts or bad motor mounts. Hard to tell without taking everything apart and inspecting. Since fridge was 17 years old I decided to order the entire evaporator fan assembly as shown in the parts diagram including fan blade, motor brackets, motor, motor mounts, screws, etc. Getting to the assembly involved removing the ice maker unit plus the entire rear inside of the freezer section. Parts cost around... Read more
