Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out. The oven element was measured and was a simple replacement. The gasket was a challenge, I pried the oven insert enough to inset the gasket. After struggling over an hour I finally installed it to my satisfaction. Only tore one corner during the install, but it is better than what I removed. Tested all the elements, they work. This retainer secures the oven door hinges in place and is located at the bottom corners of the oven door frame. Replace if the oven door sags, won't stay closed properly, or if the hinges appear loose or misaligned.

By GE. This electric range terminal block assembly includes the ceramic block, the metal mounting bracket, the mounting screws and the two contacts (Contacts not avalailable seperate). Fits GE and HotPoint ranges where a ceramic terminal block is used. Its recommended to also check and replace the surface elements if needed. Matching surface elements: 6 inch element order WB30X218. For 8 inch element order WB30X219.
