This oven door gasket creates a tight, heat-resistant seal between the door and the oven frame. It keeps hot air inside, helps the oven reach and hold temperature, and protects nearby surfaces from escaping heat. What it does
- Seals the gap around the oven door to reduce heat loss
- Supports accurate temperatures and more even baking performance
- Replaces gaskets that are brittle, flattened, torn, or frayed
- Common symptoms: heat felt escaping around the door, longer preheat/cook times, temperature swings, visible damage to the gasket
What's included
Install notes
- Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool completely
- Open the door and pull the old gasket straight out of its retaining holes/clips
- Start at the top center; press the new gasket's tabs into place without stretching, ensuring corners are fully seated
- Close the door to confirm uniform contact all the way around the seal
