The part was easily replaced. The biggest problem was that the front leg “caps” were shown in the drawings as separate parts. Would they be included with the kick plate or not? Were they ordered as the pair or did you need to order two? From the drawing it seemed they would not come with the part. So I ordered one. I replaced the entire ice maker unit. I ordered the ice maker and the front cover. The ice maker plugged right in and started making ice right away. The front cover doesn't go on this particular unit. I guess since it's a replacement part, it differs a little in design. Front cover fit the old ice maker no problem but not the new unit.
