Fix a freezer drawer that won't close properly or stays open with this refrigerator gear assembly. Common repair for broken sync wheels. 10-25 minute fix.
The left side sync wheel was broken so the right side wouldn't stay all of the way closed. Replaced the left side sliding rail assembly and installed a new right side gear. The video was very helpful. We removed the ice maker from the freezer. Once the unit was out we replaced the ice tray and overfill lever as these broke when the large ice mass was in the path, and was forced back in by my child. We then replaced the sensor bracket and secured with the bracket. We then reinstalled the ice maker into the freezer. It's great to have individual ice cubes. Very simple. Great products. Read more
