This water fill tube delivers fresh water from the supply line to your ice maker during the ice-making cycle. It ensures proper water flow and positioning for optimal ice cube formation. Replaced ice maker assembly because ice was always presented like crushed ice instead of cubes. Still had icing issue, so hit reset and watched water as it cycled to fill ice tray. Water dripped from tube outside of nozzle. Pulled refrigerator away from wall and removed cover of water supply tube.
