Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge. Noise was due to fan rubbing on housing. New fan position set to avoid any rubbing. Read more

Paid 180 bucks for a damages $3200.00 frig. Doors was crushed from falling off delivery truck. More parts were stolen as it sat in the store. Ordered the pieces from here. Downloaded the user manual. I never work on appliances but I couldn't justify the $200 a service tech would have charged to fix a $35 part. Followed the manual and removed the door. Replaced the broken plastic pieces. BE VERY CAREFUL not to strip the screws. I did and that's another story. Very easy to fix. Ordered parts to reattach the handle online. I ordered an array of parts totaling $60, including 2 nylon pins that may have been right and left. Only one worked so hopefully that was the reason - not clear on the parts list. End caps are plastic and broken tabs trying to put them on so they are glued in place. Removed two screws in hinge side and removed shelf by gently rocking hinges top to bottom until they came loose from wall. There are two small tabs on top and bottom of hinge that had to be gently put into slot in wall. Put front hinge bottom in first and tightened screw until top tab was close to slot. Then backed off on screw and pushed top of hinge into slot. Tightened screw until everything was flush. Repeated on back hinge. There were no instructions with the new shelf but am quite sure...
