I replaced the evap fan motor assembly after thawing out the evaporator. I replaced the evap motor assembly because i damaged it while defrosting the evaporator. Too much heat warped the fan blade and bracket. I replaced the motor because of the abnormal load it was put under when it was making all the noise from trying to spin through the ice buildup on the evaporator. Confirmed part number through Appliance Pros diagrams. Ordered a rail slide from their website. Went through FAQs about the part. Watched several tutorials on how to remove different parts on may different models. Opened the drawer, studied the makeup of how best to remove everything. Removed drawer, slide rail, then realized didn't have all the hardware to reinstall. Couple trips to hardware store later, drawer was put back to together and working like new.
