This rear latch assembly secures the dryer door so the appliance can latch and run properly. It replaces a worn or broken rear latch to restore reliable door closure and help the dryer start and stay closed during cycles. What it does:
WITH A VOLT/METER CHECK OUT FRONT DOOR SWITCH (GOOD), CHECK OUT MICRO SWIITCHES ON REAR REAR LATCH ASSEMBLY (GOOD). CHECK VOLTAGE ON SOLENOID AFTER SELF CLEANING WAS TURNED ON WAS READING 120 VOLTS BUT SOLENOID/MOTER WOULD NOT ENGAGE. REPLACE IT WITH REAR LATCH ASSEMBLY. PROBLEM FIX Read more
Replace missing or worn element clips if your range burner shifts, sags, or won't stay positioned. This spring clip secures the heating element to its bracket.
Mounts at the oven door hinge to limit opening angle. Replace if bent, broken, or missing to restore proper door stop function and protect hinges.

I assumed that the one infinity switch identified was the right one--big mistake. After reordering with part # supplied by the customer service department, all went smoothly.
