The oven element was measured and was a simple replacement. The gasket was a challenge, I pried the oven insert enough to inset the gasket. After struggling over an hour I finally installed it to my satisfaction. Only tore one corner during the install, but it is better than what I removed. Tested all the elements, they work. Turned power to oven off at breaker box. Opened oven door. Unscrewed 3 Phillips-head screws on chrome trim around control panel. Unscrewed 2 Phillips-head screws holding selector switch. Laid control panel down on top of closed oven door. Removed wires by hand from old switch and connected them to the same terminals on the new switch (the wire connectors pull off easily).
