Not easy to figure out. Removed screws that appeared to hold the motor/fan/bracket in but it didn't budge (??). Watched a You Tube video but the guy's camera work wasn't too clear. I at least gathered that there was a plastic, one-way button/slide lock on the underside of bracket that holds the motor/fan assemby in.. Didn't make sense that once the button was pushed up with a screwdriver, the bracket would slide out (towards you) because there are rigid cooling lines that are in the way. ... Read more

My Samsung side by side was freezing up the cooling coils. My repair started by reading online problems of others and replacing parts they replaced. These parts were very inexpensive probes, less than $10 each, from this site. Although they turned out not to repair the problem, they were the most obvious and easies attempt. Replaced the Ice Maker Assembly Which was two screws and one plug and then in a few minutes I heard the water go into the ice tray and in a little bit I was getting Ice. Very easy to change out. Read more
