You can't buy the heater by itself, but you can buy the assembly with the heater. It's very easy with needle-nose pliers to straighten the fins, and remove the heater from the assembly, took less than 10 minutes to cut the wire ties, straighten the fins, and remove the heater. Once the refrigerator was defrosted, it was easy to then remove the broken heater and replace it, took about 30 minutes including defrosting with a hair dryer. Not easy to figure out. Removed screws that appeared to hold the motor/fan/bracket in but it didn't budge (??). Watched a You Tube video but the guy's camera work wasn't too clear. I at least gathered that there was a plastic, one-way button/slide lock on the underside of bracket that holds the motor/fan assemby in.. Didn't make sense that once the button was pushed up with a screwdriver, the bracket would slide out (towards you) because there are rigid cooling lines that are in the way. ... Read more
Freezer drain heater assembly includes: Metal bracket and aluminum foil heater with wire harness.
Unplug the freezer and let the ice melt. Unscrew the back panel (6 screws, two have caps on them). unplug the heater. Pull the bottom of the cooling coil forward. Remove the heating pan and the wire from the right side. Install the new heater making sure you put the bottom looped wire back in the drain hole. Put the panel back on and you are done. I used foil tape to re secure the pan. None comes with it. Read more

Replaced the Ice Maker Assembly Which was two screws and one plug and then in a few minutes I heard the water go into the ice tray and in a little bit I was getting Ice. Very easy to change out. Read more
