The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The water then ran into the collection bin and even down the side walls of the freezer creating a huge block of ice in the bin, and ice all over the lower shelves as well. I was not able to find the exact part, so I ordered several different parts from various websites. There was one that did fit but the electrical connection was the wrong type. I clipped off the connection from the new motor and spliced on the connection from the old motor. Now it seems to be working like a charm. Read more
