I was buying a part for my other refrigerator and decided to replace the ice tray on my LG, as it was not emptying properly. This is the complete ice maker assembly that mounts inside the freezer compartment and produces ice by filling a mold with water, freezing it, and ejecting the cubes into the ice bin. It includes the motor module, mold, and associated wiring. Called for a replacement unit and gave appliance Pro the serial number model number and year of the model. The unit is only 4 years old. We have it fixed by approved servicemen three times.
