This hinge pin clip secures the hinge pin in place to ensure your appliance door operates smoothly and stays properly aligned. It prevents the hinge pin from sliding out during normal door operation. If your door is sagging, won't stay closed properly, or you hear rattling when opening and closing, this clip may have come loose or broken.
