I ordered a new grill from APP and replaced it. The repair (replacement) was simple as pie, but the two metal screw receivers on the new grill had changed screw size. The original screws were boogers to get in so I suggest the manufacturers include two compatible screws. Otherwise, no problem. Read more

I ordered both the Grille Assembly and two Grille Clips because it wasn't clear that the clips came with the assembly; they do. I was glad that I did because one of the clips on the assembly was defective, so I had a back up. NOTE: save your old screws; they are NOT included. Installation is relatively simple. The top screw is easy to get at after the door yoke is removed. The lower is behind the plate that holds the glass and door together. I removed the door very simple just lift up in the full open position .lay the door on a towel and drill a 1/4 inch hole over the head of the screw and you now can remove the screw with out disassembling the door. And they are the pros, they had simple step by step instructions about taking the door apart to get the old handle off and how to get the new handle installed. Watching some helpful do-it-yourself hints on Vidoes. Had to disasemble the door, because the screws for fastening the handle where hidden behind the inner part of the door. Videos did not show the step of unscrewing 6 tiny gold colored screws that held the door assembly together. Then used a screwdriver to pop off the plastic door cover with the window. The handle was easily and securely fastened into the plastic door cover. Just as a precaution, I disconnected the electric cord. ... Read more
