Replaced turntable. The axels of the small wheels on the turn table degraded after hard usage (20 minutes of near continuous use on small tasks). They would now spark and smoke with noxious fumes. Trivial solution: replace the turn table (the wheels don't seem to be replaceable). Read more
With no power in the unit I started to investigate. I removed the power cord and checked the supply. Then I removed a few panels from the unit. This is a replacement control panel button for your microwave. It is made of black plastic and is less than half an inch in diameter. This button is sold individually. The button makes contact with a control switch when you push it. If the button is not responding, or if it is cracked or damaged, it may need to be replaced. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
