Found belt tension idler worn down to the bushing, found the drum rollers stiff and hard to turn, found belt worn and starting to crack. Ordered all of these plus front slide pads. Replaced and now feel confident the dryer will run without problems. Absolutely need a pair of snap-ring pliers for this job. Since finding out pulley on motor is factory installed, I had to order a new motor with new pulley on it. I could not remove old blower wheel from old motor, no matter how hard I tried so I had to purchase new blower wheel and new blower housing. I goggled and found out it might be the 2 cylinder that control the power going to gas. I called Appliance Parts Pros.com to confirm. Lady on the phone told me to check this and check that. After checking all the common reasons (vent, element, fuses, temp sensors, etc.), the only thing left was the Dryness Monitor. The "LESS" light came on, but the ""HIGH" light didn't. Removed the 5 screws on the rear cover, disconnected the 4 wire & single wire plugs and the unit just snaps out. Since my dryer is Almond colored and the part was for a White dryer, I took the one screw out holding the board and transferred it to the original housing.
