I'm pretty handy with DIY projects but when it comes to one I've never done, I like a little coaching. I followed appliance parts pro YouTube video which made it a breeze. I had my son helping as I didn't want to break the glass. I made sure all the pieces of glass from the old panel were cleaned out (even did some spring cleaning on oven while it was dismantled). Replace gas valve with new one. The replacement was slightly different in that one end required a 2-1/2" screw instead of 1/2" screw, but otherwise it was the same and when installed, it fixed the problem. This stove has an electric igniter and so one had to wait 1-2 minutes for the stove to light while the igniter gets hot enough to fire off the gas. Read more
