Removed 10 Star Screws to get the door cover off and the fascia panel snapped off. Inserted the 6 buttons and the door handle into the facia panel prior to snapping it in place. Screwed the door cover back in place and the job was done. The facia has two tabs that need to be inserted into the door. Be careful not to crack them as they seem fragile. This is a trim strip that attaches along the lower portion of the dishwasher door. It helps seal the door edge and provides a finished appearance to the front panel. Replace this piece if it is cracked, warped, or missing, which can lead to water leaks around the bottom of the door during wash cycles.
One of the side trim strips was folded over on itself, which made latching the door difficult. It was an easy fix: used a Torx screwdriver to remove 2 screws on each side, and just replaced it on each side.
