It was an easy fix: used a Torx screwdriver to remove 2 screws on each side, and just replaced it on each side. Ordered the full hinge piece and an extra bushing. Was able just to slide the dishwasher forward a bit, lift the right side hinge off its seat and pop in the new bushing without disassembling. Fixed! Contrary to a great YouTube explaining how to disassemble dishwasher to replace sump, I did not have to completely remove the bottom. I only pulled the bottom frame away from tub at the front enough to snake sump assembly out. I was successful in eliminating sump leak but then the pump/heater connection leaked after reassembling. The dishwasher is 9 years old and the pump port rubber was hardened. I would recommend if the sump is replaced, the pump should also be replaced. Read more
