This is the dome-shaped cap that sits on top of the float assembly inside the dishwasher tub. It rises with the water level and triggers the float switch to shut off the water inlet valve when the proper fill level is reached, preventing overfilling. Replace this part if the dishwasher is overfilling with water, not filling at all, or if the dome is cracked, missing, or no longer moves freely.
Replacement dishwasher housing cabinet that restores the outer enclosure. Needed when the original is cracked, broken, or damaged, compromising stability.
Insulating pad for dishwashers. Installs on the tub or door to reduce noise and retain heat. Replace if cracked, torn, or missing for proper insulation.

It protects the underlying switch mechanism from moisture and daily wear. Replace this cap if it has cracked, broken off, or become stuck and no longer presses down properly.
