Flip Tine Latch
Genuine Bosch part
By: Bosch
Part Number: 00418493

Color: platinum gray. It measures about 2 inches wide by 2 inches high.

The Flip Tine Latch is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. It serves as a latching mechanism on upper dish racks that securely holds folded tines.

Made of durable plastic, the latch features offset hooks integrated along its base edge. These engage onto roll edges of individual flip up tines, pinning them neatly against the chamber to prevent unwanted movement.

Symptoms of a failed flip tine latch include:

  • Sagging or unfolded flip tines potentially blocking spray jets
  • Restricted water distribution due to improper rack orientation
  • Scratched or misplaced dishes from unlatched tines potentially flailing
  • Inefficient cleaning from lack of optimized spray coverage

This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.

Used vids on youtube for steps on how to disassemble and install the pump; search "Bosch dishwasher circulation pump replacement". Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Dishwasher didn't fill with water   Gib F. • Dahlonega , GA • August 16, 2015

This had happened in the past, so to be sure it was the control board I put my voltage tester on the lead(s) to the fill valve. It showed no voltage. Replaced the board, it works great again. It took longer to diagnose than to fix once I had the part. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Dishwasher was filling with pre rinse and wash ok but would short the amount of water for the rinses we would manually have to add about a gallon to make it rinse properly   Garret V. • Richland , MI • November 17, 2014

Pulled the unit out and took the left side panel off. I temporarily hooked drain, water and electric back to it, ran a test light to the water solenoid valve so I could see when it was on and started the unit on it's normal wash. Everything was fine till I got to the rinse, the water level switch had been pushed in by the diaphram and lever, but when the wash water pumped out, the switch didn't pop back out. It essentially told the solid state board that there was plenty of water in the unit... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Soap dispensor did not release detergent or rinse aid   Stuart B. • Ardsley , NY • July 28, 2014

The key was to find a video on the web illustrating what needs to be done since there are no repair instructions for the part. The repair took a little time, but was not complex. Only required a phillips head supervisor for the screw as well as a flat head screwdriver to lift the tabs to get old dispenser out. Remove front door remove electric connections remove old dispenser by lifting tabs put new dispenser in and secure tabs reattach electronics reattach front door Read more

I ordered the kick plate (by putting in the model number) and was very pleased as it was delivered on time and only had to use 2 screws to attach it to the dishwasher and literally took me a few minutes. It made a big difference in the looks of it and I would highly recommend anyone to order from Appliance Parts. Read more

Circulation Pump Repair Kit
Genuine Bosch part
By: Bosch
Part Number: 00167085

This circulation pump repair kit is a genuine Bosch part, sold individually. This circulation pump repair kit can be used as a replacement part for a dishwasher. This part supplies all of the necessary components to facilitate the replacement of the dishwasher impeller and seal. The impeller of a dishwasher sprays and drains the water during a standard dishwasher cycle, and the seal keeps the interior of the dishwasher protected from external materials.A circulation pump repair kit might have to be ordered as a replacement part for the impeller and seal of a dishwasher in the event that the impeller and the seal suffer damage that prevents the components from serving their dual functions. Damage can include punctures, tears, scrapes, or warping from general wear and tear or as the result of a direct impact collision with a hard object. If this occurs, the circulation pump repair kit should be ordered as a complete, genuine OEM replacement part. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This circulation pump repair kit is compatible with the following appliance brands: Bosch, Kenmore, Thermador, and Gaggenau.
