Dispenser
Genuine Bosch part
By: Bosch
Part Number: 00490467

The Dispenser is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. It dispenses detergent and rinse aid at appropriate times during the dishwashing cycle, ensuring optimal cleaning and rinsing performance. The dispenser is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of your dishwasher.

Causes of a bad dispenser can include clogging from detergent residue, mechanical failure of the dispenser door or latch, or electronic issues that prevent proper operation. Regular cleaning and maintenance can help mitigate these problems, but parts may still need replacement over time.

Symptoms of a bad dispenser include:

  • Inconsistent or improper dispensing of detergent or rinse aid
  • Dishwasher leaving spots or residue on dishes
  • The dispenser door not opening during the cycle
  • Leaks or drips from the dispenser area

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.

Turbidity Sensor (Aqua Sensor Assembly)
Genuine Bosch part
By: Bosch
Part Number: 00165279

  • Helps optimize water use while maintaining cleaning results
  • Failure symptoms can include unusually long or short cycles, poor cleaning, repeated draining/refilling, or cycles that won't advance
What's included: 1 turbidity sensor assembly Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before servicing
  • Pull the dishwasher out as needed; access the sensor from the base area
  • Place a towel to catch residual water; release the locking tab or twist-lock, unplug the connector, and install the new sensor fully seated and locked
  • Restore power/water and run a test cycle; check for leaks

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Washing cycle was getting longer and longer   Donald W. • Avon , IN • August 21, 2020

Replaced the turbidity sensor. I watched the video on how to replace the sensor. It took me a little longer than what service rep. said. But I finely finished the repair and now my wife has been using the dishwasher for the past week. I kept checking for leaks but so far so good. Thank you Appliance Parts Pros for your help. I installed the sensor on 08/18/2020. Don Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Dishwasher was filling with pre rinse and wash ok but would short the amount of water for the rinses we would manually have to add about a gallon to make it rinse properly   Garret V. • Richland , MI • November 17, 2014

Pulled the unit out and took the left side panel off. I temporarily hooked drain, water and electric back to it, ran a test light to the water solenoid valve so I could see when it was on and started the unit on it's normal wash. Everything was fine till I got to the rinse, the water level switch had been pushed in by the diaphram and lever, but when the wash water pumped out, the switch didn't pop back out. It essentially told the solid state board that there was plenty of water in the unit... Read more

This had happened in the past, so to be sure it was the control board I put my voltage tester on the lead(s) to the fill valve. It showed no voltage. Replaced the board, it works great again. It took longer to diagnose than to fix once I had the part. Read more
