This rear door latch assembly secures the oven door during the self-clean cycle by engaging a motorized lock mechanism. It includes the latch motor and switch components that communicate with the control board. Replace it if the oven door won't lock or unlock, the self-clean cycle won't start, or you receive a door lock error code.
