I bought this relay switch and it works great. On the left side of the compressor there is a plastic cover you pry off with a screw driver. The relay switch had one wire plug on it. Just pull the wire off and the pull the relay switch off the compressor. Read more

I did some research. Found a comment on this website... shake the ptc component it was ratteling... there's a ceramic disc inside the ptc. if broken, this could be the source for the ratteling sound. Sure enough that was happening... one new ptc later an all is good. Ran fridge for 3 days now... no issues It was gamble, took it.. and came out ahead. I found Appliance Part Pros and looked at the schematic and found that there were 3 external parts and one had to be it. I replaced them one at a time, supply line, valve, then finally the tubing from the valve to the fridge which ended up being the culprit. This was caused by extremely cold weather for 2 straight weeks and the water froze in the tubing. Read more
