Purchased an OEM gasket from AppliancePartsPros.com, I had mistakenly purchased a gasket from another online retailer- Not OEM to save a few bucks, big mistake. The part did not properly seal, I had frost and ice buildup inside the freezer, the molded in 'magnetic' gasket was not magnetized - the door was weakly held closed. The APP part was as OEM and fit like a glove, a bit tedious feeding it into the gasket retention groove, but I did get there with the help of a putty knife. This gasket... Read more

This small cylindrical bushing is positioned inside the refrigerator door hinge mechanism to reduce friction and provide smooth door operation. Replace it when the door becomes difficult to open/close, makes squeaking noises, or doesn't align properly with the cabinet.
I supported the door with some books then took off the lower hinge. After lowering the door just a little I removed the old thimble using an EZ out then screwed in the new one. I didn't even need to unload the inside of the door. Read more
