This is a flexible rubber seal that attaches around the perimeter of the refrigerator door. It creates an airtight seal when the door is closed to maintain proper internal temperature and prevent warm air from entering. Replace this gasket if you notice condensation forming around the door edges, the refrigerator running constantly, or if the seal is torn, cracked, or no longer holding the door closed tightly.
