I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new. I troubleshot it by looking at the wiring diagram I found under the control panel. I suspected the door switch. I watched a video on how to replace it which helped me get access to it and test it with a multimeter. I watched a video on the push to start switch. Testing it was a little vague. So, I ordered that part. I found in the comments a guy who did the same and then after replacing the part and it still didn't work replaced the thermal fuse.
