I ordered a replacement auger from AppliancePartsPros.com. Upon receipt of the new auger, I watched the repair video and took the ice crusher apart. I found several other parts that needed to be replaced as well. Once All the parts were received, I again watched the video. The video was not specific enough to show how to reassemble the ice crusher blades and the two types of washers. Following some advice found on this site, I unsnapped the existing handle starting at the bottom. Only the black part, being sure to leave the chrome piece intact. After unsnapping the connectors, I pulled down to slide the handle free. To install the new piece I just reversed that, by sliding the handle up and into the connector.
