Received replacement gasket from AppliancePartsPros.com in a timely manner. I removed the freezer door from the freezer, and placed it on a table.The old gasket was held on by double-sided tape. I removed the old gasket and removed the metal strips that were screwed into the door. I replaced the old metal strips with new ones supplied. Determined from the schematic on the inside of the cover of the icemaker that the likely problem was the "stop" micro switch.... Took the whole thing apart and confirmed the switch was defective. Replaced it with a standard DPDT switch - for a temporary fix. Went on line to find replacement. Bought it from APP Parts Pros. replaced DPDT switch with micro.. all is well.... saved at least $150 by not having a repair person come to the house - felling good about this..... Read more
