This bi-metal thermal actuator responds to temperature changes to engage or disengage a linked mechanism, restoring proper thermal control and cycling in affected appliances. It replaces a failed actuator that no longer responds to heat. What it does:

• Bends or moves when heated to trigger dampers, switches, or control linkages
• Restores temperature-driven mechanical actions that stop working when the actuator fails
• Common symptom: unit runs but heating or cycling behavior is incorrect or inconsistent
• Common symptom: mechanical linkage stays stuck in one position regardless of temperature
