It was easy, except I had to remove the drawer runners from under the old shelf and attach them to the new shelf, which I had not expected would be necessary. The schematic of the refrigerator parts was not clear that the runners were not included with the new shelf. The proper placement of the runners was perplexing, which took extra time to figure out. Read that sometimes the fan gets stuck. Sure enough after pulling the fridge out and cleaning it off (hadn't gotten back there in years!), the fan was jammed. It began to spin again once we gave it some love. But the cardboard backing was so filthy, and almost disintegrating, so we ordered a new one and screwed it right into place. Read more

Compressor would not stay on for long, even though temperature control set to lowest. Compressor sounded like it was running smoothly when it does run. Changed 3 parts: capacitor, overload, and relay. Runs like a charm now! Read more
