This is an oil-filled high-voltage capacitor used in the microwave's magnetron circuit. It stores and releases electrical energy to help power the magnetron, which generates the microwaves that heat food. Replace this capacitor if the microwave runs but does not heat, hums loudly without heating, or if the capacitor has visibly bulged or leaked oil.
Downloaded service manual, got over my fear of getting shocked. Found Samsung put bleed resistors in capacitor, jumped with screwdriver to confirm as per service manual. Tested diode, found a large voltage drop with 9v battery. Capacitor test failed. Called into APP to confirm, got some great advice. Ordered cap and diode, arrived next day, installed and corrected problem. This micro has conv and is built into my motorhome, I had few options, none really, but to fix and no one wanted to... This 15 amp, 250 volt replacement fuse protects your appliance's electrical circuits by interrupting power when a fault or overload occurs. It restores safe operation once the underlying issue is fixed and the fuse is replaced. What it does:
If your microwave runs but won't heat, a failed magnetron capacitor may be the cause. This high-voltage component stores energy for the magnetron.
This is a plastic fan blade that attaches to the ventilation motor inside the microwave. It circulates air to cool internal components and, in over-the-range models, helps vent steam and cooking odors. Replace this blade if it is cracked, broken, or wobbling, which can cause excessive noise or reduced ventilation performance.
The fan that cools the main unit had started making noise a few weeks ago, I tried cleaning and lubricating the bearings, but the fan would make noise when it heated up, then finally stopped. I replaced the fan, it was up and running within 20 minutes of receiving the parts. Read more
Mounting screw for microwave assembly. Secures internal or external components. Replace if stripped, missing, or damaged during repair or installation.
Button spring for microwave control panels. Replace when buttons feel unresponsive or stick. Verify your model number for proper fit before ordering.
This thermostat controls refrigerator temperature to help maintain proper cooling and prevent spoilage. It replaces a failed or inaccurate temperature control to restore consistent operation. What it does:
Microwave not heating food? The high voltage transformer powers the magnetron. Common when you smell electrical burning or unit stops working.
Replaced the transformer. Read more
Self-tapping screws secure microwave panels and components. Replace missing, stripped, or damaged screws to restore proper assembly and stability.
Fix a microwave door that won't close or latch properly with this door key assembly. Direct replacement part ensures secure door operation and safety.
Fix a microwave that won't start or heat when door is closed. This door lever switch signals the control board when the door is properly latched. Easy fix.
