This is a small rubber or plastic foot that attaches to the bottom of a range grate to cushion it against the cooktop surface. It prevents the grate from scratching the cooktop and keeps it stable during cooking. Replace this part if your grates slide around, sit unevenly, or the existing feet are worn, cracked, or missing.
