Replaced the heater element, per the video. Also had to connect a new terminal to one of the heater element wires. Once the heater was again connected electrically, the washer completed the entire wash cycle without hesitation. (During the time that the heater element was non-functional, the control "dial" would stop near the bottom, about half way through the cycle, and had to be advanced "one click" manually). This upper wash funnel directs water flow from the spray arms to effectively clean dishes in the upper rack of your dishwasher. It creates proper water pressure and spray patterns for thorough cleaning coverage. If dishes in the upper rack come out dirty or water doesn't reach certain areas, this wash funnel may be clogged or damaged.
