The Console is an OEM part for Whirlpool electric dryers. Located at the front of the cabinet, this chrome shadow console surrounds and protects the control panel and interface buttons. 

Over time, causes like normal wear from frequent cleaning and minor impacts can occur. Exposure to moisture, chemicals or dust collection on the surface also affects the console's condition.

Symptoms of a console needing replacement include:
