Stupid flange shaft corroded (as they seem to do) and broke. The washer continued to run with a broken part, and the drum wore a hole thru the front half of the tub so it had to be replaced too. the spider bolts broke getting them out of the flange, so new bolts. I had to disassemble the barrel assembly in order to find the cause. The videos showed how to do it. I did it according to the videos, not too hard, just time consuming and labor intensive. I found the flange shaft assembly was badly cracked, allowing the barrel to shift off center and rub.
