I replaced the igniter. It was made more difficult by one of the machine screws on the oven had been over torqued at the factory. It had stripped the screw and made removal of the old igniter very difficult. If not for that, this would have been a 15 minute repair. Read more
The seal that goes from side to side was supposed to have a thin hook, the one I got was wider so I took a screwdriver and make the hole in the oven wide enough for the hooks to get in (yes, I cheated! But I knew it before hand). Changed the others seals and ready to go!! Read more

After many years of excellent service the burner I use most often on the top of my JenAir range rusted through. After trying to remove the burner, which was firmly rusted into place, I decided to replace the cooktop pan, both burners and igniters. It was an easy repair to swap out the new parts for the old, and the only tool necessary was a #2 phillips screw driver.
