This is a plastic support bracket that holds the door interlock switch in the correct position inside the microwave. I replaced the two door switch interlocks and cam-plates which appeared to be worn. Before ordering the parts, I did a continuity check on the three door switches and determined that they were OK. While I was replacing the interlocks and cam-plates, I discovered that a piece on one of the cam-plates had broken off and was not making proper contact with the door switch when the door was closed.
