I removed the grates and burner tops. Then took the screws out that held the burner spreaders. This allowed me to remove the range cover to expose the gas lines and wiring. After research on the internet I concluded that the problem was the turntable motor making the noise. The repair was relatively easy. Just a philips and a star screwdriver was needed. By simply romving the screws from the bottom of the microwave the turntable motor could be removed andvreplaced. The new motor fit perfectly and the grinding noise is gone. Read more
