Outer tub cover that snaps over the washer's outer tub assembly. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to restore proper clearance and protection.
I had to remove the front panel of the washing machine and top of the washing machine. i started by removing all the top screws as shown in one of videos. disconnected all the electrical wires (i have a commercial washer) and lifted the front panel over the back of the machine. i was then able to remove the top of the washing machine to give me access to the tub straps and the corresponding screws. i removed the broken straps and then was able to remove the tub cover by pushing down it down... Harness to corset & shifter
Ordered water inlet solinoid valve and water temperature probe sensor. Items arrived in a few days. Appliance Parts Pros on-line video was extremely helpful for replacing inlet valve. It only took 20 minutes. Recommend replacing temp. sensor probe while old valve is out before mounting new valve. Only 2 screws-Easy. Entire job took about an hour start to finish. Saved at least $150 doing it myself over repairman and saved $750 over replacing the washer. Happy wife, happy life! Read more
This pressure switch monitors water levels in your washing machine and signals when to stop filling or start draining. The washer would not fill at all, with either hot or cold selected, but the agitator would start moving as if it were in fact full. This thermal fuse protects the washer motor from electrical overload by breaking the circuit when excessive current is detected. Located in the motor assembly, it needs replacement when the washer won't start or operate despite having power.
Its alive!! After a recent power surge, our washer would not spin or agitate. I tried replacing the timer but the motor still would not spin or agitate. I was really hoping the motor was not fried.
