Washer screw
This balance weight counteracts the spinning motion of your washer drum to reduce vibration and noise during operation. It's typically a heavy concrete or metal block attached to the drum assembly. Replace it if your washer shakes violently, walks across the floor, or makes loud banging noises during the spin cycle.
