Washer screw
This washer was seven years old. I noticed the crack while bending over but there was no leak. I could have made a mark to see if the crack was propagating but if that took too long there was a risk that LG would no longer carry the door assembly. I opted to replace it right away. The new door was manufactured by LG and fit perfectly. I had to get help in holding the door in position while refastening the hinges.
