Removed 3 screws (2 Phillips, 1 star), 2 in the grill above and one star in the top of the door itself. Removed the door unpacked new door and reversed my actions. Was a no brainer... Read more
Replacing the Panl-Control assembly resolved the problem, The tech manning the phone (actually a female) was helpful in selecting the correct part. for my model of Whirlpool microwave. (WMH32517AB-2) .The ribbon connecting the Panel to the keyboard was new to me. Must be careful to observe that part of the ribbon goes to one side of the contacts and part to the other and all is is held by a black nylon clip.
