Microwave not heating or making loud humming noise? The magnetron generates microwave energy for cooking. Moderately difficult repair in tight spaces.
I tested the diode and the magnetron, and found the magnetron was grounded and the diode was open. Replacing the magnetron was the hardest part, because in the low profile microwave there's not a lot of room. I had to slide the transformer out to make room to get the magnetron out! Read more
Secures your microwave to its mounting bracket for stable wall installation. Replace if nut is stripped, missing, or won't hold microwave firmly in place.
This is a circular support ring that sits on the floor of the microwave and holds the glass turntable tray. It typically features small wheels or rollers that allow the tray to rotate smoothly during cooking. Replace this ring if the turntable wobbles, does not spin evenly, or if the rollers are broken or missing.
Replace your microwave door assembly when damaged, bent, or cracked to restore proper sealing and safe operation. Includes outer panel and components.
Small mounting spacer that keeps microwave components aligned and prevents abrasion. Replace if cracked, missing, or worn to restore proper clearance.
Fix a microwave with a blank display, non-working buttons, or no tones. This main control board regulates power levels and all microwave functions.
Can't see inside your microwave? This light bulb restores visibility when the door opens or during cooking. Simple 5-minute DIY replacement fix.
This is a fully assembled microwave door that includes the outer panel, inner choke cover, handle, hinges, and door latch. It seals the microwave cavity to contain microwave energy during operation. Replace this door assembly if the door is cracked, the glass is broken, the latch no longer engages properly, or the microwave will not start due to a faulty door switch interlock.
This is a small plastic coupling that connects the turntable motor shaft to the glass tray support inside the microwave, transferring rotational motion to spin the tray during cooking. It sits on top of the motor and engages with the turntable roller guide. Replace this coupling if the turntable stops rotating, spins intermittently, or if the coupling appears cracked or stripped.
This interlock switch service kit replaces a failed door/door-latch switch assembly so the appliance detects a closed door and resumes normal operation. Restores safety interlock function and helps the unit start or complete cycles. What it does:
Fix inconsistent heating or error codes with this microwave thermistor. This temperature sensor monitors internal conditions for proper operation.
This is an electronic noise filter designed to suppress electrical interference generated by the microwave's magnetron and other internal components. It connects to the power input and prevents electromagnetic noise from traveling back through household wiring. Replace this filter if the microwave causes interference with nearby radios, televisions, or other electronics, or if the microwave fails to power on due to a shorted filter.
Fix a microwave that runs but won't heat with this capacitor. Works with magnetron and diode to restore heating function. Moderate DIY repair.

The Glass Tray Coupler/Support is an OEM part for Whirlpool microwaves. It serves as the connecting linkage between the microwave turntable and interior glass tray.
Causes of a bad coupler/support include broken or cracked components from normal wear and tear. Over extended use, these plastic parts can become brittle and weakened.
Symptoms of a bad coupler/support include:
This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.
This is the cooling fan motor that circulates air through the microwave to prevent internal components from overheating during operation. It draws air across the magnetron and other heat-generating parts to maintain safe operating temperatures. Replace this motor if the microwave shuts off unexpectedly due to overheating, runs louder than usual, or the cooling fan fails to spin.
Ordered Genuine Whirlpool parts from Appliance Parts Pros and had them in 3 days. Replaced fan motor and squirrel cage assembly. Having never taken a microwave apart it took longer to disassemble than replace the part. Whirlpool did change a couple micro switches on door interlock so you have to switch them out from the old interlock or put new wire terminals on wires to use new ones. Read more
This fan wheel is the rotating plastic wheel that moves air through the appliance's exhaust and heat systems, helping maintain proper airflow and cooling. Replacing a worn wheel restores airflow and reduces noise from the blower assembly. What it does:
