This rubber gasket creates a watertight seal around water inlet connections in your washing machine. It prevents leaks and ensures proper water pressure for filling the tub during wash cycles. Replace this gasket if you notice water dripping from hose connections or if the washer takes too long to fill.
I replaced the door seal for the leak. We had a small tear in the sealing surface that resulted in water dripping down the front of the machine (just below the door). I also replaced the detergent dispenser main box with diverter unit. This corrected excessive water being left inside the detergent dispenser at the end of each cycle. I highly recommend replacing the dispenser seal and gasket nozzle to be on the safe side. As these parts are subject to wear and fatigue over the life of the... Read more
I found two methods to make the repair, one involved removing the entire outer tub ( need a helper to lift it out) and splitting it apart outside the washer. The other method was to split the outer tub while still in the machine. I was working by myself so I used the second method. This repair took the better part of the day and is not for the faint of heart, lots of parts to remove and keep track of. I took several photo during disassembly to refer to when going back together. I found mostly... Read more

This electronic control board manages the washer's motor speed and functions, typically located behind the control panel or near the motor. Replace when the washer won't start, stops mid-cycle, or experiences erratic spin speeds and cycle timing.
Used a multimeter to determine whether the motor or inverter was bad (Got Error 54 in service mode), which usually means bad motor or inverter. Switchboard was spiking power to the inverter (could hear faint clicking, and the multimeter spiked readings when testing the inverter's terminals from the switchboard, and the motor's wires all checked out with proper ohmage. Heard from other customers that inverter dying was the most likely situation. Bought this new inverter (it looks different than... Read more
This inverter board controls the variable speed motor operation in your washing machine, managing spin speeds and agitation patterns. It converts AC power to the precise frequencies needed for optimal motor performance. Replace this part if your washer won't spin, spins at wrong speeds, or displays motor-related error codes.
Replaced it. It was fairly easy to replace. The best part is I tried to have someone service the machine, but the part was on backorder from GE at least 14 weeks. Appliance Part Pros got me the part in 2 days. Read more
