This door lock assembly secures and releases your appliance door so it can latch reliably during use. It replaces a worn or broken lock to restore safe door operation and proper cycling. What it does:

Engages and holds the door closed during operation to maintain heat and cycle functions
Releases the door when the cycle finishes or power is removed
Commonly used when the door won't stay latched, won't lock, or the appliance fails to start due to a faulty latch
Fits into the door/latch area and connects to the existing mounting and electrical interface

Install notes:

Disconnect power (and gas if applicable) before starting any repair to avoid shock or injury
